Origins

Manga (Japanese: 漫画 ) are comics or graphic novels originating from Japan. The word "manga" comes from the Japanese word 漫画,[22] (katakana: マンガ; hiragana: まんが) composed of the two kanji 漫 (man) meaning "whimsical or impromptu" and 画 (ga) meaning "pictures".

It’s been a long time since I read Manga. It was a big part of my life as a pre-teen and teen. So, it was fun to go down memory lane Googling Manga from my childhood. Maybe one day I’ll have a Manga stage again. :)
