Last Christmas As Kids

I love Amazon lists. Every year I make one for myself and my husband. That way we get exactly what we want. But, it occurred to me that 2022 will be our last year of experiencing Christmas as kids. We are both in our late 20s, so we aren’t kids anymore. But, once you have children, holidays are about them. Almost everything is about them really.

So, as I enter this 2022 holiday season I am grateful for my last Christmas without children. Because once they are here, its not about me or us anymore. Its about them.
